When I was a little girl, I could see Dragons. That's how I chose my name here at Renderosity. (Sometimes I can still see them.)
I have been an artist and a writer all my life - and have worked in acrylic on canvas as well as watercolor. I was best known for my watercolors of dream creatures - especially for my Dream Birds. Lots of my art and writing has been found in dreams.
In May of 2000, I did my first 3D picture on the computer. And I was hooked.
My Underground Shaman series - takes off where my 2D work left off. The faces of animals, human, and not-so-human always fascinate me and I like to use them as stylized motifs to create mandalas full of textures, patterns, colors and emotions.
With the internet, I discovered, that while some people make art to look at, I like to make art that looks at YOU! :-)
The Underground Shamans are Wise Ones from many worlds, realms, and dimensions. In mid-2002 the Dragon Fae also began appearing to humans - they are an interesting race, well-traveled, and good talkers.
My computer and software are now ancient, but they and my imagination are still working at the moment - more or less (as of August 2021)

We could certainly use a dose of her wisdom and peace... Things are definitely out of balance...
Beautifully done, and I love the cool, calming color scheme.

Another beauty from you. You speak, here, of souls who know that disharmony simply 'is', and can be fixed by merely 'doing' it, or accepting it...You evoke (in your words and image) the silent sureness of wisdom, and walking through strife without being bothered. Maybe you know the old tale of the monk or nun who's told to walk through a castle of dazzling sights---while carrying a glass of water filled to the brim? The teachers tell the novice, walk through the castle and never spill a drop of water. So the novice walks through the castle, never takes his/her eyes off the water, and therefore makes the journey without spilling a drop. At journey's end, the teachers say: "Wonderful! Now do it again, but, this time, bask in everything you see..." (Your shamans can take-in the whole universe, and never spill a drop in the process...peace in the center of activity...) You share a lot of insight. And that purple is the color of the 7th chakra, royal, deep, representing silence and peace. I love your shaman's face---stern at first, but with real knowing. And the elephant has a knowing stare too...and one of your sinewy trees, under a purple-washed sky. An image of hope, beautifully done. (And thank you for all your comments...and your responses to my art, and what you saw in it. I really appreciated all you wrote.)

This new Shaman is very beautiful and interesting, as usual! The purple elephant brings a note of humor and mystery which incites to read the text which is very important as usual...Human beings have not been in harmony with this world for a long time! They gradually replaced what is necessary with what is superfluous, and then went from the superfluous to the useless! Today this civilization of which human beings are so proud is almost entirely based on the useless...But they are in no way aware of it...They even imagine for humanity a future even more useless than the present! It's hopeless, but everything that's happening today has long been foretold by the Wise Ones...
