I love the haunted feel of this, like he's playing violin by the fire. It reminds me of that scene in Interview with a Vampire, even though this is all its own thing. Beautifully done. :)

its mood evokes the first movement of the famous 'moonlight sonata' (by Beethoven), and your choices, again, are so fascinating. You have a moon back there (in a star-studded sky), with a beautiful copper-rust-toned line of trees. But the trees come to an end on a horizon that looks almost like a silk painting---suddenly it gets very 2 dimensional, which makes that background suddenly feel like a theatrical backdrop. Beautiful amber copper-toned light, and the sense that he's playing on the edge of the land. Even his chair is fascinating. This has a lot of complex feeling in it, as many of your pieces do. Very enticing and mysterious.
