Ce coléoptère a de belles élytres rayées jaune et noir, on voit bien les segments de ses pattes, et il semble très affairé sur cette inflorescence violette......magnifique macrophoto, Jean-Claude !

Wonderful capture of this beautiful little bee beetle...looks like its really enjoying the nectar with it's Proboscis firmly set deep into the flower. Good to see that your area has such a rich variety of insects--heck, I dont't even see any honey bees in my area--global warming and too many damned insecticides...very disturbing.

Une très belle photo que tu as fait ici!! Moi j'adore ces petites bestiolles velus, il y en a beaucoup cette année aussi chez nous! Je suppose qu'il aiment les fleurs médievales que j'ai planté dans un coin de mon petit jardin!
