Le livre comme le tableau de Bouguereau sont des points de rupture, ou des portails dans l'image : le contact et le goût pour un monde ancien, plus matériel sont des choix encore possibles pour cette jeune fille.

Je croirais entendre la voix de Louis Jouvet Plusieurs éléments m'intéressent dans la peinture de Jean Claracq, un jeune peintre que je viens de découvrir au détour de mes lectures : le rapport à la miniature, la mise en scène dans la profondeur de l'image, la profusion des détails qui résiste au premier regard, la mise en abyme de la fenêtre, l'expression désenchantée du modèle, le commentaire de notre société, le rapport aux outils, le mélange des époques, le commentaire de l'histoire de l'art, ...
