Description
Hi.
There are 2 birthdays this week (among my fans), but I will not be able to post my dedis this week. The first is for Barb (goldie)---her birthday is today: Happy Birthday, Barb!!!!!! And the other is for Priska (aksirp)---her birthday is Friday. (Happy Birthday to you too, Priska!!!)
My sister is ill again (another cancer, they believe; though we don't know much about it yet...we're hoping for the best though). And I am getting over some smaller ailments of my own (physical therapy, dental, etc, though certainly not as serious as my sister's). Also, I'm finishing a long trek with a revised Trust and Will. So I just don't have the time or energy to post uploads for another week or so. So forgive my lateness on these dedis---I'll get them up soon...
(I'll comment, though...just less regularly for the next few weeks.)
The photo's from an old shot near home: I wanted to capture the "queen-girl" sitting at the table, and the light. Just a sunny and playful moment---and birthday-like.
Hope you're all well, and holding up through these difficult times. Thanks for stopping by as always, and love, peace and good health to all,
Mark
(happy bday once more, Barb!!!) (dedis to follow)

The fir tree with is catch of leaves is so especially beautiful. A playful afternoon in the light of the Midwest Buddhist Temple. Isn’t that an oxymoron? ( I am from Indiana originally. 😄)
I’m so sorry to hear your sister (and you) are not well. I’ll hold her in my thought as a happy queen of the day.

I hope your sister will recover soon. The image is adorable. Take care of yourself, dental work is always the worst. Any dental work always puts me down for a day or two. And thank you for the kind comments on my stories, it's always appreciated.

That's a very beautiful and striking photo. I like the contrasts of the ultra-colourful party and autumn scene leading up to the white steps. Although it seems the party is overshadowed by the two adults who clearly lost something they're looking for... (Well I hope your troubles lose themselves too!)

super clear capture mark, love seeing people having fun especially during our difficult times. mine are getting worse. time to seek other employment. used to love my job, now hate it tremendously cause of their cutting hours a lot. can't survive on 12 hrs a week. thanks for sharing this joyful great photo my friend.

The autumnal colors and the way the sun plays on the little blonde's hair are glorious. Wonder for what the two adults are looking. Do hope your sister's lab report is a good one. Many thanks for the BD wishes :) Be well, Mark.

Wonderful shot, Happy Birthday, Barb and Priska!

This is a wonderful, light-filled photo, Mark - with lots of fun, color and a delight for the eyes! I love the sunlight on the little blonde girl. Wonderful greens and yellows fill the shot and it just makes one feel good - like there is light and hope left in this sad world.
That is so sad about your sister's health - hopefully it's not the 'C' word, and something that can be controlled.. You and she are in my thoughts and prayers, buddy.. Hope you're doing better, and you are able to get through all that paperwork with a bit of sanity intact. Dealing with stuff like that makes me crazy (er)!
Stay safe, stay healthy, and take care of yourself - no hurry on commenting needed.

I really like your brilliant colors and a fun time for the children

such a lovely birthday photography, long time past I was a little princess - or queen - in fact we don't used to do a big thing about birthdays in our family and to me it is still a almost normally day - thank you very much Mark, very kind of you and I do hope you and your sister are going better soon!

Stellar detail, light and shadow effects in this front yard Chicago capture, Mark. That is a baby carriage at the left, right? I'm glad you mentioned it as an old shot, considering there is no one wearing an anti viral mask. Aaah, the good old days. Sorry to read of your sister's travails with her recurring cancer. May she heal without a problem. You do have a lot on your shoulders, further made worse by this endless satanic pandemic. Be well, Mark.

She is a lovely, royal Queen. The gold light on the leaves around her, and especially on the pine tree, are showing off for her creating a warm and beautiful halo all around her world. May these children grow up in a warm and safe world.
I'm so sorry about your sister. I hope she succeeds in her fight. My best wishes go out to her. I hope you have lots of good days, too. Keep fighting and keep believing... and take one day at a time if you guys have to do it that way. (((hugs)))
