Description

...The More They Stay the Same. This is just a friendly reminder: YOU have the power to get this Covid under control. It's real easy: wear a mask, socially distance and stay home when you don't have a truly good reason to leave your home (and that's doesn't mean to go to the local bar). And remember to wash your hands often and keep those paws away from your face :) Keep each other safe.

If I tried for a month to find a more appropriate image, I'd fail! Lovely poignant work, Barbara! I heard this morning, Trump is forcing kids back to school and the number of infections is basically still increasing! It's like ethnic cleansing by proxy!

You are right to remember that the pandemic is not over, far from it! Here in France, it's the same, a lot of people have moved on, holidays, travel ... even ministers have been photographed kissing each other, and parliamentarians without masks in a closed room ... however, the number of cases identified begins to increase again! This is madness! Meanwhile, the elderly or at risk (I am both) must take even more precautions to avoid death! What an inconsistent and selfish world!

Fantastic image, Barb! Take care of you, stay away from places where there are crowds!

I try a keep up with defeating that deadly virus. Have several different masks to use. So many in our country think they are good and dont need one. High death rate will keep happening unless !

Great work on this image Barb. Our POTUS is so evil to force kids and teachers back when he knows theres a huge problem.

At least he won't win a second term in office. I dont think the Russians can get him a win this time. Those mail in votes he cries about they can't change.

I rarely say "awesome", because it's overused so much, but this is really.....awesome. Perfect lighting and so realistic that is looks like a photograph or painting. Wow....

Wow! What an excellent image. It's stark and powerful. The message is on point; behave wisely and we will get through this, if not the consequences will be dire, the Plague Dr. is watching. I love the light and depth of field in this, the red gloves are dramatic. what an excellent image.

Be safe! Mom and I are staying put.

with companies doing research into things that can kill millions, is there any end?

Only difference is they didn't have smart phones and social media in those plague days. Then again, we're all still here, for now, so news must have gotten around somehow, imagine that. I'm going to hire the pigeon guy... 😎

You can't change people's behavior overnight, sadly this mess is going to take some time. Stay strong G!

So true - and so easy! We do have the power - more than we realize...

Went for our yearly checkups today - everyone at the Doc's office and medical center had 'em on. They were checking temperatures at the entrance with a Dr. McCoy style tricorder thing..

This is an excellent artwork, Barb!

Ditto the above, this is a powerful image. I agree with Barb/bakapo about the depth of field and the red gloves, etc. This reminds me of the bubonic plague, because of the old medieval background (it looks like a foyer of a medieval cathedral or castle); and because this person's outfit seems very medieval, even though there are modern touches in it. I can't tell if there are rats on him/her, but it almost seems like there are. (Connotations of the black plague.) The shadow on this messenger are very ominous---a warning---and it really feels like someone from the middle ages has popped into our world to say, "take it from one who knows: be vigilant!" You've also tilted the image ever-so-slightly, which speaks to the off-balance time we're in. Really well done, Barb. (I haven't forgotten your dedi---you'll see it, I promise!)

Awesome image with a great statement behind it. It'll take common sense and "good" leadership to get us through. Now if only there was a "good" leader in charge.

What is power washing? Power washing is the use of high-pressure water spray residential soft washing to remove dirt, grime, mold, mildew, and other contaminants from surfaces such as buildings, driveways, decks, and sidewalks.
