"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources" - Albert EinsteinBIOIm am a 28 years old Swedish medical researcher living in Stockholm. I have had a profound interest in computer generated art and 3D in general since 1999 and I am currently exploring different medias. I am mainly using MAXON's Cinema 4D for both modeling & rendering and e-on software's Vue d'Esprit for landscapes...

Superb work on the guitar!! These "HDRI" pics tends to render to light. Perhaps render the guitar first with an alpha channel, then render the background and composite in photoshop, just to darken the background a bit. But thats only me.:))

I have been back 3 times just to look at the chrome and reflections. I love this. The rendering Gods were with you on this one! One other note; If I didn't know where this came from, I would have a hard time deciding between excellent 3D and perfect airbrush. Nice art!

Nice - I guess the strings are 'tape' wound?

Wow! This is Excellent! I am creating a guitar in my 3D class in Cinema. How did you do the excellent chroming and reflections. I would love to know, for future renders I do. This is really inspiring. Well Done!

WHOO u go for detail, i do hope ure not using that in a full animation with a full band set, damb render time would go down hill

Thanks again! FitArtistSF, for the chrom, just use a black color with low brighness to get the gray nuance, and a reflection of ~60% and high/sharp specular highlighting.
