This is a temp bio to get something up, but a little about me...I started drawing on an Apple Computer in 1983, pixel by pixel back in the days of green and black screens, and did a little programming, as well. Boy have things changed! However, I consider myself a hardware guy on PC's, and my background is in Mechanical Manufacturing and Design, and I still do a lot of that for a living. 40 years old, I live in Lubbock, Texas, USA, and do some professional 3D illustration and mechanical design on a free-lance basis. Most of my software is 3D CAD based, but I have a weakness for 3DSMax and Poser when I can find the time to let myself sit for hours. I have Photoshop CS2 and I'm pretty good with that when I need to. With technology running the pace it is now, I've decided to stop chasing software revisions and updates and learn to use what proggies are at hand in my own boxes. I like animation, but the 3D stills are what I really love. If it wasn't for Renderosity, no one would even know that there's an average Joe in West Texas at play in the garage, and he's not just surfing the net! If your into 3D and in the Lubbock area, send me an email and let's have coffee or a drink.
