I am an musician and artist. My musical mainstays are Blues, Rock, and Country, Between the three I stay fairly busy recording and playing live performances. I have been playing since the 60's so I have had a rather lengthy career.
As an artist I seem to be mostly into FANTASY ART with side trips into MOOD and SURREAL ART. I use POSER, VUE, BRYCE, and CARARRA. Photoshop is my tool of choice as a post production tool, and rarely do any of my pieces escape from Photoshop untouched. Mixed media works intrigue and challenge me. I love to see pieces come together.

Thank you so much for stopping by. You do wonderfully detailed work. You are a fine story teller and you graphing panels give those that don't read an opportunity to follow along.

You did just fine. Been doing a little Daz today myself. I should have a new render up in a few hours.
It just takes practice. You already got the eye.

Thank you for stopping by. It has been years for me since I worked in DAZ. I have literally forgotten almost everything so I appreciate your kind words of encouragement. Your latest 'Fashion Comfortable' was a really cool piece.
Madbat
Nice first Iray effort! Oh you can definitely have fun with Iray, but you'll need to read up on it. Just remember, turn off the camera's headlamp when you render or you will have a face on spotlight throwing your lighting off.

It has been years for me since I worked in DAZ and my addled brain remembers nothing. Like your tip on the Head Lamps 'Duh...' Thank you for stopping by and i look forward to seeing more of your wonderful works..

It looks so good! I love how well the images work in the Environment tab--and you can stuff any image in there, even hand painted ones. Bigger is better for the ones like this, just for resolution. There is a lot to like in DS, even though the materials tab is a little clunky sometimes.
daggerwilldo
I will definitely look into the DAZ Environment tab. Thank you for the tip. Advanced warning , now i will pester you to explain it to me in terms a 5 year old can understand. Thank you for dropping by.

La fin n'a jamais été aussi proche de nous

You can turn down the headlamp so it functions more like a fill light. I can recommend ShibaShake's tutorials on Iray, which are freely available for how to use emissive lights as fills to compliment HDRI lighting. But this is a fine render nevertheless, as you have engaged in storytelling, and that is the most important thing in art. Stay well my friend.

Thanks for the tips. It felt like the first day of school. The transition to the DAZ interface is not bad. There are however a whole lot of aspects about how you do things that i am constantly having to go the tutorials or forums to read up on. Still it is a solid tool that cannot be overlooked.

Beautiful render
daggerwilldo
Thanks for stopping by. I checked the garden this morning but no luck. None of the bugsnouveau magical bugs were out. I anxiously wait for one to appear.

she is beautiful and very realistic skin/render

Thank you so much. I am really enjoying your wonderful camera adventures. Keep them coming. They are really helpful, especially during these shut down times.

Amazing !!!!
daggerwilldo
Thank you so much.Your wonderful art was one of the influences that prompted me to attempt DAZ again.
starship64
Nicely done, especially for the first time using Iray.

I had done some work in DAZ years ago. So long in fact that this was a complete do-over for me. I had forgotten almost everything about how to navigate the tool. Thanks for stopping by. it is greatly appreciated.

Superb fantasy character and scene, great work!

Thanks for dropping by an taking a peak. Your camera work is wonderful Especially since here in the U.S. , we are still nearly shut down. Your camera lens is a great way to pass the time as we the people assume responsibility for stopping Covid-19. Our President and his administration have totally failed us.

She's an impressive warrior, and I like the decor, great work !

Thank you for stopping by. You are always welcome. I was touring your gallery recently and I love the way you work with darkened scenes. They add such suspense to the renders. Bravo !

Crap! That weapon could ruin the receivers way. Great expression and outfit. Never used Daz. Would not have a clue on installing content.
daggerwilldo
Daz has really come a long way. They have a wonderful total encapsulated environment for the render tool that makes product purchase and installation a snap. You never even have to download a zip. Thanks for the comment and for your encouragement.
PandaB5
That looks great. I really like that hair colour with the woman's skin tone - it looks really amazing.
daggerwilldo
Thank you so much. I appreciate your feed back. The combo of colors is one of a Triadic combinations of colors. I just learned that because of your comment hair color and skin tone. So thank you for helping me to learn something new.
Radar_rad-dude
A fine looking render for starting all over again. It will come back to you I'm sure. Nicely accomplished work.
daggerwilldo
Thanks for the encouragement. Tonight i can use it. Like nothing happened like I thought it would when i was using the Daz Interface. Hey, tomorrow is a new day.
STEVIEUKWONDER
Hearty congratulations on a job well done! I will be rooting for you as I also turned to Daz after a number of frustrating years working in Poser!
daggerwilldo
I like working in both. For Poser it is the inventory full of goodies I have collected over the years. Thanks to Xdresser all the Stuff carries forward to lâhomme and laFemme. For Daz/Iray it is the Render engines quality output + the amazing characters they Keep coming up with. Weâll pass on any tips as I am going to need them. Donât be surprised if you see a site mail or two asking newbie questions.

romangirl
You did a great job rendering this warrior!
daggerwilldo
Hello there. I am glad you stopped by. Your latest series of renders tell a great tale and I am following it and loving it.
UteBigSmile
This is a fantastic looking warrior, just love it. I do nothing with IRAY, dont' understand nothing at all about it and on the other hand I am still working with DAZ3, an oldie like me I wish you a nice weekend, please continue to stay vigilant and in good health!
daggerwilldo
Thank you so much. You are always welcome my dear friend. I so love your amazing work.
BellaDark
This is a beautiful fantasy render. :) The thing that stands out to me is the composition. This is so well put together, and the character just draws us in. Great work! :)
daggerwilldo
