Alright. The second use of the new dForce breast feature! Man, this is going to end up being a favorite, I can tell! So, you can't just add it to an existing character. I tried with Monie, and ended up loading the "base" provided by the new set, and then applying a shape/material to it. To get one of my existing customized characters set up took a bit more work. First, I had to load the character, and save the shape and material both as presets. Then load in the new base w/ dForce Breast and apply the now-saved shaped and material presets. Then I saved this is a new sub-scene - as I find that is the best way to load custom characters. of course, I had to see how it worked on Lenny. For her, I went with the "hard" option for the breasts. (The settings are from Hard to Very Soft) I figure that since she exercises, she wouldn't be too soft. Then it was a matter of fiddling with the pose. That's always been a bit of an issue with Lenny here. Her custom shape warps posing to the point that most arm-across-body poses clips like crazy. HOWEVER. With the new feature... well, the first run of the simulation went a little too far. I was pretty sure if you put that much pressure on your your breasts, it would be very painful, lol. Which mean adjusting the pose. But this was where things started to come together. Because inside of painstakingly arranging the fingers so they didn't clip through the body AT ALL, I let them clip ever so slightly. Then ran the simulation. And this time it looked GREAT. Very natural. No need to set up fiver deformers and hope you don't end up breaking the mesh completely. So far, experiment a success. But then I needed to see what happened when cloth was added to the mix. At first, i tried to use the "Basic Underwear" set, but since none of it is d-force, clipping ensued and things got warped. I didn't really have a dForce bra to work with.... but then I remembered I did have the excellent "Relaxed" T-Shirt by Kaleya. But I needed it in black. Of course the only Black default setting is this lacy thing. Which just sparked ideas. What if Lenny were TRYING to be all sexy/romantic? It isn't normally her thing, but.. why not? In the name of science or whatever. So i left it as-is instead of finding a solid shader, added in some appropriate underwear, and re-ran the sim. Well. The shirt pulled the breasts down just a bit, requiring a careful repositioning of the hand to get it back into contact. A couple more trials, and the addition of hair and makeup as well as a romantic setting, and here we are. Me being me, I ended up putting together a slightly complicated lighting rig to give it that extra-special touch. It rendered up really quick, too. And I like it. So there. A soft romantic portrait of Lenny, with some very realistic posing of her *ahem* beautiful breasts. Not that you can really see it, but boy. It makes a big difference. The whole pose looks so much more relaxed. As if her arm is actually resting against her, instead of sorta hovering in the air. Now to convert everybody else. This is too good a thing to not use everywhere now. Though I'm not sure it will make much of a difference on Lola. Best not to tell her that though. She's already a bit grumpy that she don't have curves. Thanks for looking! A few more experiments, then I think I'll start to get into more complicated renders.
