Description
Daz Studio 4.12 Iray. Photoshop.
Character and clothes are from The Store That Shall Not Be Named!. I wasn't going anywhere with this one. Renderosity really needs a category for "Really Uninspired". And again, I never kept the scene, but I think I was trying for a pale, bone white look that never happened. As to the setting, I was aiming for upscale yet trendy business. These fine folks don't believe in suit and tie, or formal business dress. Maybe I'll rework this idea into the V & V corporate offices for Sarah and Kharsha. Speaking of which, I've yet to do a decent render of her. I really doubt I'll even attempt doing a render of the orbital city of Wonderland, or the CS Endurance. Both are simply too big to tackle.

Actually, this was easy-peesy pumkin pie simple to render. There are really only about 4 mapped lights and maybe the hdr that comes with the set. The material maps are very sensible, so what looks like a gajillion lights is only 4 as far as iray is concerned.
As to Lorna, she a spacer. A lot of them have odd colored skin tones and funny eyes due to various adaptations.

Makes me think of Assaj Ventress from The Clone Wars. I think it's a nice render, even if you felt uninspired.
As far as skin goes, it's already pretty nice. But you might try "Fantasy Skins for Genesis 8" from the Daz Store. I'll post a link.
She's a badass, and once you've established that, you're halfway there. Keep up toe good work!

I bet she works in the Undelivered Goods Claims Department; that sympathetic look and obvious lack of empathy and habit of slipping into different languages when going over claims no doubt earn her a super bonus to spend on clothes :) "read the fine print Luke" lovely but scary character :)

I kinda thought she had a gatekeeper kind of look. You want to talk to someone in charge, you got to get by her, and good luck with that. But basically, you kinda nailed it.

I think it’s a very well constructed render. I loved your commentary on being uninspired. Sometimes you just Gotta let renders go where they want to go. Of course other times they’ll drive you right into the ditch. Such is the nature of artificial intelligence Of course the same could be said about human intelligence. So I am done with the philosophy I just want to say it’s a fun render however it came about.
