I was born and raised in the "South Bay" before it became "Silicon Valley". I went to Cal State Hayward and graduated with a B.A. in Art. I went back to school at the local JC and got my degree in technical illustration. For the next 25 years I worked as an illustrator and graphic artist at a hand-full of high tech companies. As of December 2012 I officially retired from the "Rat Race". I now have time for my art. Even though I have been a member of the Renderosity community for about 3 years, it has been a silent partnership on my part. I have been enjoying everone else's "Labors of Love" without giving anything in return. That will change.

But now I WANT to cause a disturbance!
I think female officers are common in Japan for much the same reasons you describe. At least I think I remember reading something like that. Having 2.5 women-to-men probably contributes to that as well.
Soften up the beat cops, but have some muscle for when shit hits the fan.
Lovely render. I challenge you to do more. Tell us a story. What's a typical day for Susan like?

Very cool image...its super...in every aspect, and yes i agree with what you've said, and your father was top notch...!!...what a role model...its.. not just the appearance, or approach and understanding that needs to change...i'm ex military....and i know what is like....so for me...guns carried without reason or in the home on the street ....?....sorry i don't get it....yeah the softer approach or touch will work to degree...dose depend on the situation and circumstances...like everything...there is never any need for physical touch or restaurant, but its not just the physical side....laws have to change too...and need that adaptive approach.....or we will never move forward...or learn from past mistakes...or injustice.....

This is brilliant commentary and well thought out. I to knew LEO that in all thee service never used lethal force. Your idea is a concept that going forward we will be forced to consider. Well done and well thought out . Bravo.

Most excellent work on this image, and a stellar idea as well. Just so GORT keeps that laser eyeball under control...
Indeed... Having your entire force staffed by women has many more advantages past the obvious pleasant visual possibilities. With the proper training they seem much better suited for intense situations. They seem to be able to focus better, and react quickly when the situation calls for it. As you shall soon see.. 😉
I've always had the highest respect for those who put their lives on the line daily to keep the rest of us safe. Most people seem to have the impression that the first thing an officer is likely to do is draw his/her firearm in any situation. And the popular media does little to allay that mistaken idea. They focus on things like the Floyd incident, and all that does is keep certain elements of our society stirred up.
OK - I'm stepping down from my soap box, now... LOL
