Description
Besides writing and Daz art, I also paint miniatures, dabble in woodworking, and play guitar.
Sonja is here to remind you that you should practice every day. Because when you bend that note JUST RIGHT, it's a beautiful thing. She drinks her soda at room temperature, and mostly likely to be shirtless when she's home. Whoops, I'm starting to develop another character here...
Picked her up recently as part of that whole "Pick up three items, get $50 worth of stuff free" deal they had going on. It gave me a good excuse to pick up her, and the hair and I forget what else. The hair has already been used with Skye, but I thought I'd go ahead an use it again here. The "Rundown Apartment" set was one of the things I got with the $50, so I guess I was in a mood to use new assets.
I was in a lousy mood and made this just to cheer myself up. I have to say, the model is really good and has some nice little touches that I appreciate. I'll have to pay attention to the PA now.
I gave her a bit of a "derpy" expression. If you've ever watched a guitarist play the blues... well, we derp pretty hard when that notes sounds so sweet.
Had to overcome an issue with the computer again before I could render. Just one mesh light in the scene, so I know I'm not taxing it. But, she was worth the extra effort, as this piece does indeed make me happy.
Thanks for looking. I guess I'm troubleshooting today. After I get some writing done. And practice my guitar.

Yeah, Every single Rock and blues guitarist I've ever seen either makes the weirdest faces when playing or goes completely blank looking. There's no in between. Have fun and good luck troubleshooting.

It occurs to me that since Skye's roommate is a drummer, then perhaps Sonja will be in the band. I'll probably not even rename her. Sonja is a fine name.

Love the blues myself. Nice casual look and guitar pose. Had a friend years ago who painted miniatures, have about a dozen with his crafted work.

That's awesome. Sometimes I spoil myself and commission one of my friends to paint a mini for me. So far, Battlemechs. I've yet to commission a fantasy mini.
I enjoy painting. Kind of been in a slump lately. My D&D group imploded, and while they weren't why I painted, anything D&D related kinda gets me down. Got an entire band on my bench, about half-done. Need to get them all-done! (Including Vampire Liberace!)

Brilliantly expressive; nice that you could get the string bend in. I play a Gibson memphis LP myself so this is particularly appropriate!

Lovely. I got a "Shine" (pronounced she-nay) hollowbody LP built out of the epiphone factory. Beautiful tobacca-burst tiger stripe loaded with Lace P-90s. She growls so sweet. Also got a sexy black D'Armond LP style with gorgeous gold foils. As for hollow body guitars, I got a Univox, and an Aria, and an ES-175.
I have a bit of an addiction to fine guitars.

I used to take advantage of daz sales, back when I was still working. I guess I will try and learn studio since I have not been able to manage poser 11.3 filing system after using each version since POser 4 pro
