Description
I was working on a new character for my series last night, while also trying to get sleepy. Bought the very exotic Kazandra recently on a sale.
She'll likely pop up in the next book, so it is good to get the character design all figured out. In this case, it was just a matter of adjusting her breast size a bit. Not that she started with the typical too-huge breasts of a lot of models, but I wanted a bit more of a Morticia-if-she-was-mean look. I don't even think I'm going to adjust her height any.
She is the host of a paranormal TV show.
Lenny owns an old sanitarium. She bought it in an auction when she was supposed to be buying herself a new house. Truth is, she doesn't want to leave the apartment that she and her dead lover made a home. So in an act of self-sabotage she bought the abandoned McCall Institute. She does use one of the rooms for an office, going there to write her books. But really, it's a big place.
She's hired a security guard to watch over the place, and rents it out to a local company that does ghost tours. Surprisingly this mostly covers costs of upkeep/taxes. As far as property goes, it does serve as a decent tax shelter. So it all works out.
She's approached one day by the host of a popular TV show, who would like to run a series of specials out of the place. I'm thinking tying it into the Halloween plot I've been working on.
This TV Host is a bit mean, and I don't have a name for her yet. It will come to me. For now, I hope you enjoy this artsy portrait of her.

P.S. For lighting, I put together a volumetric light using a cone, and coupled it with a portrait setup I've got in my runtime. I think the end result is pretty nice. I kinda wish I had done it in 16:9 for a desktop. Maybe I'll run it again.

Yeah. I think she will be a recurring character, so Icce been toying with that idea a bit. Like, maybe she rents out a few rooms for the purpose of producing something a little more substantial then just another Ghost Hunter-type show. I really love stuff like Twlight Zone and Outer Limits, so maybe a paranormal-themed variant of that. Gives her a reason to stick around and cause some mischief.

That was my inital reaction. She has an extremely narrow waist and prominent hip bones. I was going to redo the body, but... Honestly? I think sometimes there is too much pushback. I'm very body positive. A trip through my customized characters would show that I embrace many different shapes. It would be wrong to discard this one just because her waiat is so narrow. I've known people with that hourglass shape, and corsets are still fashionable to some ladies. So I decided to leave her as-is. Maybe she starves herself for TV. Maybe she'll give me a chance to explore eating disorders. Part of the goal of the project is to embrace/examine mental health issues. Maybe she just has an insane metabolism. IDK yet, but I'm going to see where the story leads.

A name came to mind as I looked at her, Alasandra Foulter. Would that work?

First thing I thought was a new version of Elvira's show, running horror movies, but a paranormal show would work as well, 'true' ghost stories or some such.
She doesn't look abnormal size wise. I've known people built more or less like that. She does look like she has some attitude though, that works well. She kinda looks like an Alice, but Alasandra works. Overall the presentation works well for the character idea.

Yeah, I was thinking Alice as well, for a moniker. Like, her name is Alasandra, but she presents as "Alice."

I'm so glad she's been so well received. Which is rather funny since she's meant to be a TV personality. Like, I must have nailed it. I think I'm going to write her a little scene today to start dialing in her wicked personality.

I've got a good model for your name. Kayleigh Mcenany. She seems to me to fit your descriptive of the TV host. And as for the look of evil, you might visit the way Angelina Jolene looked as Malificent in the Disney movie. Just suggestions but not real serious ones. They just popped into my mind reading your descriptive.
