I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Thank you. Wolf Girl make me want to go, AWOOO!

Nicely made. I don't use 3-delight often, it can be a real pian to get good lighting. Witch you got nailed here.

Thanks. I generally avoid it, too, but it gives me a more "video game" look to the render, so I fuss with it.

Spectacular and excellent work, my friend!👏👍🖐

Thanks! I do try to make it good. I imagine it's a screen cap, cropped by one of the players for dramatic effect.

That's a big wolf!

They're pretty far from it, still. It scaled it up pretty big. Got to be "World-Boss" big, if you've ever played an MMO

Fascinating characters! Marvelous work. Bravo!

Thanks for that. Makes me smile. Also, Wolf Girl still makes me Awooo.

Thank you. I like how two of them are barefoot. Misty (Medusa character) because she genuinely doesn't like shoes IRL, and Milk Mage (Elf Wizard) because she likes the idea that Elves live frivolously. Which she equates to dancing barefoot everywhere. She definitely uses all the emote animations for her character.
There's so many layers to this book. There's the "real world." The in-game. The world inside Lenny's books. There's intersections and just so many layers to consider. Quite the different project than what I'm used to.
Thanks for looking, and thank you for the feedback.

You know.... There's just something I really love about an 'all Girl' guild.... 😉
Looks like a howling good time about to start here - awesome work on this! 8 figures plus props in two minutes? Wow! I can't even do that in Poser / firefly.. (but then I tend to stick lots of stuff in my scenes, usually...LOL)

I'm tempted to convert it to an iray scene and see how long it takes. Thanks for looking!
Eventually readers will get to know all the girls. Each and every one has an interesting story to tell. Much like real people, I suppose.

A wonderful render. I love this genre. You did a great job. As they say in New England now I’m going to go bark at the moon. Thank you so much for all the help you’ve given me.

I learn something new all the time, and knowledge has no value if it is not shared. Anytime, buddy. I should be doing another "in-game" render in the next few days. Today I was going to fiddle with a hair set and ended up putting together a whole scene that's still rendering. I was just going to find out if it could do a specific thing... It's a long render, but I got a complicated light set up on it. Because of course I do.
Thanks for looking, and thanks for chatting! The better we connect as people, the better the world will be.

Goodness! Such a lot going on! This really pops!
LyleAryn
Thank you. I was hoping to get good depth out of the scene.
