wow, in this piece you have a grain, like it's filtered through a screen, and it makes everything like a graphic as much as a 3 dimensional collision of worlds. You've got sweeping, swooping lines, and a "drooping curtains" effect, all met with geometric shapes and jewels. Very dramatic; but because of the textures, it feels granulated and slightly 'flat', and therefore very graphic, almost like a colored etching. Lots of energy...and your colors, as always, are powerful and vivid. More fine abstract from you, Steve.
