Description
Franklin takes his lunch after paying Judy with a gold ingot.'Hope that is enough.' he
says as he turns to leave the diner.
Jim is right behind him. When Jim gets outside and sees his beautiful Cadillac, he goes
into shock! 'Franklin, what went through that pea brain of yours that made you park in
this spot. Couldn't you see there was a car nearby?'
'I thought I had plenty of room, Jim. Don't worry about it. These scratches should buff
right out, don't you think?'
'You crazy Martian. This is one of the worst stunts you have pulled on me. I have a
notion to punch you in the nose right now!'
'Lets not get hasty, Jim. I was only kidding about the buff job. I have the perfect
solution to this dilemma right here in my space ship. It's called a time warp reversing
ray gun. Should fix you right up. I just aim it at your car, pull the trigger a little
and presto, time is reversed on your car. It can turn time back until before I got here
and your car will be good as new! Should do the trick don't you think?'
'I don't know, Franklin. I've seen some of your hair brained ideas backfire big time
before. I don't know if I should trust you with my pride and joy!'
'Let me put my lunch away and I'll move my ship a little and be right back out.'

Oops, I saw the next in the series before this one. Now I see how the "scratches" on Jim's car turned into a hunk of metal and a rubber tree! Poor Jim :-)
