Description
'A roll of steel and some kind of tree. What the h... happened. What kind of
tree is that supposed to be anyway?'
'I might hazard a guess.' says Judy. 'My Uncle worked on a plantation in South
America. I think its a rubber tree.'
'Well if that don't beat all! Franklin! What have you got to say for yourself?'
'The trigger stuck on the gun! I couldn't get it to shut off when I wanted it
to. A little WD-40 should loosen it up though. Get us right back on track!'
'WD-40! You use that in outer space?'
'Sure, Jim! Don't you know it has millions of applications, well not that many
here on earth, but in space, there are no limits!'
'Yeah right, Franklin! And about the bridge you want to sell me...'
About then, Jeremy comes out of the Diner accompanied by the young guy that was
sitting behind them a couple booths. 'Say Jim. I hate to add any more problems
to your plate. Sammy over there in the Camaro has offered to take me home. I
hate to leave you here like this but having me around doesn't help your situation
any. Thanks for rescuing me. I have your phone number. I be in touch.'
'Sure. Go ahead, Jeremy. Sorry things turned out this way. Hope you enjoyed your
breakfast!'
'Oh yeah! I can truthfully say I've never had a more exciting one! Talk at you
later. Hope everything works out okay for you.'
Franklin takes his raygun back inside his ship and moments later returns with
a smile on his face. 'WD-40 did the trick it did! Told you it would. Loosened up
that trigger slick as a whistle. Now how did that guy tell me to switch it back
the other way...?'
Judy looks over at Jim and says, 'I can't watch!'

By the way, WD-40 was developed for the space program. Excellent ;-)

Not forgetting a reasonably good penetrating/easing oil, as well as making short work of gummy labels! Nice scene!

Poor Jim, it's true what they say. No good deed goes unpunished!
Will Jim make it to the wedding in time?!?
And what has the bride-to-be been up, anyway?
Is Jeremy going to regret going with "Camaro Guy?"
Find out next time!
(Fun scene! Franklin really stepped in it this time!)

That was definitely a wee bit more than a "scratch" on Jim's car! If Franklin can "turn it back" hopefully that'll come with a rollback in mileage or some other benefit, given all the hassle! Fun series :-)

Fun render and a great story line. Total fun to view and read.

The insurance company is never going to believe this... I think this is even out of the realm of WD-40 to fix! LOL
This is a great and fun story, Bill!

A strange story, I wouldn't be surprised if WD40 weren't universal. Great image.
