As Jeremy and Sammy leave the parking lot, Jeremy turns to watch. Judy has gone back by the Diner entrance. Franklin points his ray gun at the steel roll and rubber tree. Jim finishes putting on his jacket he loaned to Jeremy. There is a shimmering vibrating wave emanating from the ray gun. The materials begin to change shape. Suspense. Then viola! There sits Jim's car again! Yeah! But not yeah? No! Instead of the beautiful green pristine Eldorado Jim drove there in, now sits a rusted out old hulk. Franklin looks at Jim. Jim looks back at Franklin and starts reaching for his throat! Franklin fearing for his life starts running. Jim is right behind him. All Judy can do is stand there and stare in amazement. She is not new to the Franklin fowl ups either. She is just shaking her head. Then she starts laughing. Jeremy relays all this to Sammy who also watched some of it in his rear view mirror. They both can't believe their eyes. Neither of them has ever seen anything like this before except in some science fiction movie with great effects. Reality even tops that! It doesn't take long before Franklin out distances Jim since he is more athletic and of course an alien with a much lighter frame that it looks. He runs back to his space ship and quickly closes the hatch door. Jim runs up to the space ship and starts banging on the hatch. 'Come out of there you mangy excuse for a Martian. Get out here and fix this mess or I will put in a complaint to the inter-galactic council. They will take care of your sorry bum!' After Franklin is sure Jim has calmed down, he comes back out and tries to sooth Jim's shattered nerves. 'Now look, Jim. I have to admit, I've never used this ray gun before. The guy I got it from lost to me in poker and this was all he had to pay me. He didn't give me many instruction on its use and I haven't been able to find much information on it on the inter-galactic web. So let me study it a little closer. I'm sure I can figure it out and fix this mess. Just a little more time, Jim. Please?' 'Well, alright, you bum. Now, I've gotta call my fiancee and tell her the wedding is off! Can't say I'm entirely too unhappy about that, thanks to Jeremy.' Jeremy and Sammy turn onto the road and Jeremy gives him directions to his apartment. Jeremy wonders if he should call Jim again after that fiasco back there. Hmmm. He wonders. Well, I'll give it some time and maybe call him once to see how things turn out.
