We are looking at the buildings of an exploration base that has strangely gone silent. This is the view from the bridge camera mounted behind the pilot’s position. This is a considered a very high risk mission and if it fails to return, images sent from this camera may indicate what happened to the scout and its emergency crew of one. The ship is making a surveillance approach over the base which is dark and silent as predicted. The threat is believed to be in the central hub building where crew teams are sheltering in place in their sleeping pods. Most space action scenes are more dramatic but not all that realistic. I have put a camera in the scout spaceship to show what one would actually see on a realistic approach path. Maybe not all that dramatic, but you can take it as what you would see if actually there. So try to imagine that you are the pilot and this cluster of building contains a dangerous threat, nobody knows what it is, and your job is to find out. Your first priority is to communicate and after that to survive. I posted an image for this scene yesterday but am stepping back in time to show how the sequence starts.
