I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

It's hard not to put forth my best effort whenever I load Aryll into a scene. I've got a couple I've let just fall by the wayside because I wasn't "feeling it." Didn't even run the render. This scene, though, I was definitely feeling it. Thank you for commenting and having a look.

Dig the sword, cool work
LyleAryn
Thanks. I will pass it on to the modeler! It's a beauty all right.

A truly epic and beautiful image - superb as always!
The lore is fairly similar to some ideas I'm exploring with the Fae world which has allied with T.N.A. More to come on that later. Much more..
LyleAryn
I will await it eagerly! I'm happy to have your feedback.

Wonderful back story from a wonderful writer. This is a great render and one massive sword. What strength it must take to get fluid with a weapon that size. The biggest blade I ever swung was a full size KA-BAR. (7" Blade). And she can handle a blade nearly as tall as her.
LyleAryn
She can. She "dances" with the blade. She's also not exactly human... Stronger than she looks!
Thanks for having a look.

Love the look on her face. She looks like someone not to be messed with
LyleAryn
Thank you. And indeed, she is definitely not someone to trifle with.

Stunning render - the woman's pose is just perfect.
LyleAryn
Thanks! It would be a shame to mess it up since part of the book explains how she trained for years on how to fight with a sword, lol! Thanks for taking the time to comment. Always a pleasure.
