another private moment we'll never be "in" on, but which---from this angle---seems important to them. I love that you only show their backs, but for the right-side person, where we see a 1/4 profile. And that person's definitely conveying something. And the only other thing besides the two is that heavy wall of tall grasses, bushes, whatever. (Van Gogh did a whole painting of grasses like this.) I love the smudges and discolorations on the rest of the piece. I have no idea what this moment holds for these two, but it feels intimate and important to them; and I love that we're getting but a glimpse. And, coming from the Midwest, that wall of grasses seems very familiar, like an intense prairie...
