I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

No apologies, Lyle,... EVER. This work blows me away. I feel every little piece here, every little broken reflection, the curled up posture to hold herself together and block the rest out, and every little mark across her skin where she tried so hard to feel and not feel all at the same time. Powerful, beautiful, and raw. :)
LyleAryn
Thank you, Bella. It's my habit to apologize for everything. LONG habit. Hope you are doing well today.

Nice work buddy! Simple but expressive, quite a hard thing to achieve.
LyleAryn
Thank you. One of those, "I like the piece, but what it says is heartbreaking." And I think far too many could identify with it.

Nothing to forgive! We all have days that don't agree with our constitutions. Take a long deep breath, relax. Find a comfortable place and be nice to yourself. A most excellent and symbolic scene here! So many vibrations and interpretations possible.
LyleAryn
Thanks. It means a lot.

I know how this feels, great emotional image and really hard to pick up the broken pieces of life.
LyleAryn
Thank you. It sure is. And sometimes even harder to find a reason to pick up those pieces.

This image is so powerful, and at the same time, so full of emotion! It is at times like these that words need not be spoken...for listening is more than enough! Excellent and very well done! :-)

Thank you. I appreciate the comments.

my most utilised sense is hearing [i 'see' mostly through sound than sight, if that makes any kind of sense], and this has such an interesting voice; and meanwhile, i just keep hearing a specific song, or rather the refrain of that song, in tandem with the voice... i truly want to say thank you for this treat as so many images i see these days are silent for me, and i miss this kind of interaction...
LyleAryn
No, thank you! It is a pleasure. I like to think I'm getting more expressive, the more I do it.

Been there, done that. Got the T-shirt.... No apologies needed, buddy!
This soooo perfectly reflects (pun intended) the way I've felt a LOT the last few months. And this work just exudes raw emotion. Fantastic art, good sir.
LyleAryn
Yeah. It's been a rough week, I tell ya. Thanks for having a look. Hopefully I'll be back on it soon. Just been a little too drained to do much of anything. Need snuggles, you know?
Belit
Very powerful image Lyle. Your lights look different in the last 2 images? Did you do something different? I watched your latest video last night and picked up a few tips that helped me out. Thanks.
LyleAryn
I used Epic Godrays on this one. I think I just used spotlights in the last one. Thanks for having a look. I'm glass this piece has been speaking to people. That's really moving, to me. Almost like making a connection.
MioraaNyte
Your images are always so powerful. Your work is utterly amazing!
LyleAryn
Thank you. You're too kind. I just fiddle around until I get something I think looks okay, and then hope for the best. I think the stubbornness is what gets me to that level where it's enjoyable.
Richardphotos

This work has so much feeling in it. I am drawn in immediately. I can feel the pain. You hang in there.
LyleAryn
Thank you. Like the title says, no matter the pain and numbness, I remain unbroken.

This one hits home for me. I love it! I feel the loneliness, pain, and the want to give up but the need to get up, face the demons at the door, and heal to eventually become stronger and unbroken.
LyleAryn
Thank you. It was a personal piece for a friend, but it only works because I was able to channel things I feel/felt. I'm glad you like it.
