Description

I loaded Cassie so I could work with a prop and get it ready for a scene illustration. I figured I'd get distracted by the intended model, so I loaded up Cassie. And got distracted. The prop is not in the scene at all. I ended up trying to get an old v4 freebie to work on her (it didn't) and in the process loaded up the Genesis figure. And things sort of just kept going. I was streaming at the time, so you can watch the descent into madness up until I got messaged from a friend I really needed to talk to. https://www.twitch.tv/lylearyn The prop is a staff with a snake girl on it I've been building. I'm going to get back to work on it soon, but I was getting a little uncomfortable doing it on-stream because I was unsure if it would trip the censors. So, i pivoted to remain on-stream. I really like how this came together. It's been a while since I've done this sort of render, where I just kept following that inner voice. Once again, a Fred Winkler character has inspired something beautiful. FW Cassie for Genesis 2 female Fayre Princess for Genesis 2 female and Genesis Tamesis body for Genesis Stephanie 5 head for Genesis Royal Steampunk for Genesis Elegant fabric shaders Homestyle shaders Fantasy Moon by Orestes Fantasy Castle Corridor. From Renderosity: the gloves came from Gothic for v4 from freebies. That was the only piece to survive into the final render. It proved a little challenging to get it looking up-to-snuff, but hey. It's a cool dress that I still want to do something with. For Gothic styles, I prefer a softer sort of art. Less skulls. I think one term is *"Lolita Gothic?"* Anyway, it's a style I like but don't have a lot of assets for. That became apparent as I worked through this. If i dive deeper, I'm going to had to add to my collection, lol. (oh darn.) Let me know what you think! I'll have another render up later. I actually did it first, but I still need a title for it. Have a great day. Let me know the stories this spins in your mind, as they spin through the moonlight.

Beautiful and classic, Lyle. I love the posing and expressions here, and even the smallest detail can be so much. The tassels on her dress, the way they move, I zeroed in on that right way and to me it's just the perfect touch. Beautiful! :)

Thank you. I wanted there to be some movement to the piece, but obviously you don't want to overdo it. I'm glad you noticed! I actually spent a good portion of the day making it - but it rendered in less than ten minutes! So then it was like, "Now what?"

Great "distraction" Lyle. I just wish my own distractions were as productive...

It was great to work on, too. They just started talking to me, and I let them lead me along.

This turned out quite lovely. It is interesting how our workflow happens. Sometimes it feels like we are just being led somewhere. I like to go along for the ride And see where it takes us. I look forward to many more wonderful pieces from you.

Aww. That's really kind. Thanks. I'll keep making them. I look forward to what sort of innovations they bring to the software in the future. Though what I really wish for is a new horse model. Or at least new hair meshes for the hivewire one.

This really is gorgeous, good sir! The moonlight suits them so perfectly, and you've brought out all the beauty and emotion of their encounter.

Superb work!

Aww. Thanks. It makes me want to write. Like, who are they? What is the story behind their meeting? Have they ducked away from a party? I'm really happy with it.

Same here - the final image created can be quite far away from the original thought; and the original thouht itself might be the fleeting glance at a dissolving dream on awakening. Beautiful image and textures.

Thank you for that! It's lovely how art happens. Once you've learned the tools and can let your mind wander free on the canvas.
