Description

This is more along the lines of the goofy stuff I used to do. I had to fight Daz for a long, long time to figure out why I couldn't get the lights to turn off in my scenes. Some render setting that was rendering a dome or something that always had a light on. I must have fiddled with the settings and saved it that way on accident. One day it worked, the next the lights wouldn't go off, even after I took all the lights out of the scene. It's not intuitive. Bah.

I like your work, but, again, I sure would like to see that naked angel!

You have to turn off the auto light on the camera--it's in the settings under Render/environment, I think, and you also have the option of Scene only, or Dome only..I think the default is Dome and Scene. You need to set up your scene before you make it scene only because it gets really dark..there is a setting on the tool bar for lights in preview but I find it's easier to flip them on and off in the render panel :D I love this biker angel on his stand--he looks quite collectible!
