Description

Anyone who is a regular viewer of my art by this time should be aware that my universe is very consistent in look and feel which I purposely try for. Introducing a new character can be most problematic if that character is from another media or genre. I found this character, whom I have named, Gaia, over at Adam Thwaites store (Most-digital-creations). She is a combination of Anime and Comic book art. I knew if I put her in my universe it would be a bit like the effect of "Roger Rabbit" (LOL). Now don't get me wrong, because I love that movie, but I didn't want to take the cohesive quality that my images have away from the reality that I created. In short I just wanted Gaia to fit into my world seamlessly while still keeping her essential visual qualities. Basically I gave her a make-over. She had a number of areas softened up and gently reshaped which included her face. I kept the ears a bit smaller and less pointy and I gave her a whole new skin shader. She is a Wood Elf and she is capable of changing her skin color as camo when hiding in the forest but for this image she will appear more human. Down the road there will probably be some minor tweaking, but I think this is her final look. At some point in the near future I will give you her story which originated with the wild fires here in California. Thank you for reading this far (I really do hate to ramble!)
