Description

this home was built by a Filipina lady(cousin to my friends there) that had worked in NYC for so many years. it was her plans to retire there which she did. however not long after she had returned to her home, she was hit and killed by a driver that never stopped in front of her home. the reason I posted this was because I learned that the person that purchased the home from her daughter had the home destroyed because they thought the home had a bad omen and built a new home. not much different than Troy Aikman. he had a huge property in Highland Park along with a new home. he wanted a larger property, so he purchased the home next door and had it torn down so his yard would be even more huge. so many homes sold in Highland Park/University Park are torn down for huge mansions

So sad she wasn't able to enjoy this lovely home for very long. I'm sure whatever he built in its place doesn't have the class this one does.

At least you got a cool photo of it before it was demolished.

That was a beautiful structure. I am glad it is preserved in a picture. And now on the internet which may well be forever in some form, or some place.
