Description
A more light-hearted interlude, based on the stories of Edgar Rice Borroughs. A bit of a bagatelle really, cooked up while i was getting more familliar with using g8. The low quality/anatomical inaccuracy of the old DAZ big cat is quite exposed here so I'll probably do a "proper" version in due course if a better model ever goes on sale (i've rather blown my runtime budget during lockdown!)
In addition to the DAZ big cat, this features the SpinosaurusDR and G8 is sporting Ravnheart's venerable "Red Star" outfit. The setting is Stonemason's Enchanted Forest. All on DAZ.

The Look At My Hair presets help the old Big Cat.
Beyond that, I would recommend looking into Hivewire's. I haven't tried their Lion yet, but I do like their horse. Well, I don't like the mane, but the horse itself is very nice. I think, being newer, the Lion should have a much nicer mane. I've seen some great renders with it, anyway. Though now I wonder if the mane was added in post. Every time I bring up the Hivewire horse's lousy mane I'm told to use the photoshop to give it a better one. (Bah humbug)
This is a great action scene, and I was getting an ERB vibe before I read your text. I'm a big fan, myself. One of these days I want to get around to doing a Princess of Mars tribute piece of some kind.

Thanks Lyle, and great advice. I do like the look of the Hivewire cats, also the FelidaeAM lion is impressive (has a cool sabretooth addon too). The LAMH presets only work on DAZ big cat 2, not the original which is the version I have. The v2 still suffers from the same very inaccurate anatomy and to my eye looks clunky, so I'll wait for one of the better models to go on sale.

What a wonderful action scene...posing is excellent as is the lighting. I agree about the Daz big cat--the feet are especially horrific even in their BC 2--ever think of getting the Hivewire big cat? Not perfect by way better.

Agree with LyleAryn: the Hive wire lion is easier to handle and yields better results. Same goes for the small cat, dunno about the other animals (horse, dog, though).

I love the concept, I have the Daz Big Cat 2 it works well enough for me. The drama back has been with recent Daz updates the LAMH doesn't work so great causes my computer to crash

I love the Hive Wire animals. They do go on sale occasionally, if you’re patient. The action in this scene just blows me away. Everything seems to be moving and dynamic. Very well done. The lighting....just perfect.
