Description

(just an abstract......another name: "The inner-life of a fall leaf"...) HI everyone! I've gotten to most of you w/ a comment, and will get to the rest of you in the next day or two. I can't comment on more only because of time. I promise to get to more of your wonderful art next time. There's so much pain now, and I'm sorry for all of you who are suffering. W/ illness and treatments. With spinal/muscular pain. With loved ones who are ill, injured, hospitalized. With caring for others w/ all kinds of difficult conditions. And w/ isolation, no money, terrible jobs and covid hanging over everyone... I hope the fall brings a lot better---past the paroxysm of the coming US election---and that we start to see light. I hope all of you who are suffering will see light and healing. And that the hearts that are ruptured begin to heal. (I've had a few losses, some badly suffering friends and sister, etc. I hope it gets much better for everyone.) Much light to you all. I see everything you post, and I'll comment on more in the coming days. As the old saying goes, "it's not the saints who are in heaven, but heaven that is in the saints." Here's to the saints in everyone. Peace, health and love to you all, and I hope you all stay safe and well, mark ---------------

Glad that you are touching base with us, Mark...yes, things are not just bad for the people of the country healthwise, economically, socially, but it just seems our "culture," or whatever our culture was, has gone sideways...the current D.C. atmosphere has become so toxic, it feels like something is going to explode...and as much as I fear COVID, I fear what is coming out of D.C. far more. The people must vote like they have never done before, and, thus, put a stop to these devils, once and for all--otherwise, who knows. Do hope you are OK all through this mess and that your sister is OK too. Love your abstract art -- looks more like an auto than a leaf :)

The year of the plague will be remembered for a very long time. I went to the store to pick up a few things, and couldn't help but notice children docilely following their parents where I used to see them dancing and bouncing about energetically, now I only see empty eyes staring out from behind masks.

Love your vision of a wild autumn Mark. Quite the blast of great colors and shapes. Things are so tough for so many, I can only imagine the less fortunate, I'm close myself but at least I get 13-15 hours a week out of the house and working. I hope your leg is improving and also your dear sisters health also. Got ya both in prayer. Hope to see you back soon my friend. This is the worst life has been for most of since at least the plaque era, and going to be very fugly this nov with the election and covid said to get worse with colder temps. Weatherman says Colorado will have record freezing temps this year. I might need to save $ for a good small tent and sleeping bag. Cause can't get into a appartment with income and my bankruptcy a few years back. On a good note, Amazon is building a facility here about 4 miles away from me. Going to be a few hundred jobs available. With luck I can score.

God bless bro. 🥰🍻

Not sure how you managed it, Mark, but you seem to have captured a photo of the inner workings of what's left of my mind, here! Lots of colors exploding into swirls and shapes, and just doing what they do. And I love it!

Yeah.... I do wish someone would take 2020, drag it into a back alley somewhere, and put it out of our collective misery. Enough is enough! Seriously, this has been one F'ed up year. I do hope 2021 is better. For all of us.

You are one of the bright, shining lights in the darkness, and it's always a treat when you're here, buddy! Your vision and wonderful observations really pick me up, and I'm sure it's the same for others. You see things in my art I don't even see! And it helps me to keep improving and pushing the limits.

May the universe smile on you always, Mark!

Hi, Mark, I love this image, it's full of bright colors with an even brighter light shining through. We all need some bright light to start shining for us all, right now. Thanks for being a shining light, too. The slices and swirls make a very pretty picture. I wonder what kind of inner life a leaf has. It's view of the world from high overhead probably would lead to some fantastic and/or rather scandalous stories. :) Take care, feel well and stay safe!

Hello dear Marc, I agree with dear Rod because you are one of the bright, shining lights in the darkness, and it's always a treat when you're here dear friend! Your vision and wonderful observations really pick me up, and I'm sure it's the same for others. You can see things in my art, that I don't even see either (smile). May the spiritual world (in which I believe) lighten always your way, have a blessed new week, send you much love & light, Ute
