I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

nice render ... this happens when ...in germany we say "du dich grün und blau ärgerst" ... have a nice day my friend
LyleAryn
I'm colorblind, and have trouble with blue. Hopefully it doesn't clash. Thanks for the comment!

Splendid character and dress - I like the way the cloth folds; and lovely textures!
LyleAryn
I knew going in that this pose and any thing dforce was going to cause problems. I was prepared to set up a complicated timeline. But I hit the button as-is... and it worked! Oh, happy day. I love how one hand went into the other sleeve.
Thanks for viewing/commenting/liking!
Tracesl
beautiful looking character - excellent
LyleAryn
Thank you very much, Traces!
chasfh
Now that's awesome!
The dynamic hair really makes it pop. Lovely work.
LyleAryn
Thank you. Got to do a spacegirl with some flowy hair. Of course, we'll have to lose the hood...
FurNose
Your renders getting better and better and you make enormous progress! Perfect!
LyleAryn
Thanks a bunch, FurNose! Good to see you! How have you been?
zaqxsw
Stunning! I can easily see one of your characters falling in love with her at first sight too!
LyleAryn
Thank you! Yeah, it was also an attempt to get a combat-focused player more into the roleplay.
eekdog
dynamite skin texture, have a close one in poser. and have a image done, when I post? with 32 image backed up don't know when. love her expression and outfit.
LyleAryn
Thank you. I'm glad you like it.

Nice image. Dforce is sometimes a pain to work with. Especially if your clothes explode, which is my favorite. dForce hair is another beast altogether that I've yet to come to terms with. I love the blue skin.
LyleAryn
I know in a few years, it will all be super easy to use, but for now? dForce takes some special considerations! At least we've got some great sets to demonstrate it's power, and now that we've got dForce hari, it's becoming better and better. I just wish they'd re-release Fanta Sea Hair as a dforce set.
Thank you for commenting.
Madbat
The blue doesn't clash, it is striking though. I like it. and yeah, Dforce is always a bit of a frenemy.
LyleAryn
Thanks, Madbat! You have a wonderful day now. I know it's Monday, but try anyway, ok?

Lady sings the blues.
LyleAryn
Lol. She's pretty shy. Thanks for stopping by!
Nightwind
Lovely portrait! For me this outfit always works beautifully, but then it seems dforce either works or blows up like napalm.
LyleAryn
I really appreciate the vendors that take the time to put together a dForce outfit nicely. This vendor is now on my watch list! Thanks for the feedback. Hope you're having a great Tuesday. Just three days until Friday, right?

Wow - she really does look awesome! I have yet to mess with dForce, but maybe once I get DS reinstalled I'll have a play with it.
Now, I have that song by Fleetwood Mac playing in my head...
