Description
Red and Silo have an exciting spurt back to the spaceship as Silo releases a blast of pressure
from Red's hidden thruster. They almost overshoot the ship, but Silo manages to grab onto one
of the ships anchor points.
Their is rejoicing inside once everyone is aboard again and no one has been hurt. Just more
scary memories for everyone. Such close calls. Really taxes the constitution. Even Red admits
he is shaken by the experience. His logic circuits processed the prospect of an eternity alone
in space and he didn't like it one little bit. Or is that byte? (LOL) Computer humor. Sorry.
After they all settle down, Jake finds a bottle of a special brew he purchased on some distant
planet. He is very fond of it for its relaxing qualities. He gets shot glasses for everyone
and even finds an elixur of wd40 for Red. (lol) Red is most appreciative!
'Only takes very little sips!' Jake warns about the elixur. 'It will knock you out of your
chair if you drink it too fast!'
Everyone heeds his advice and once they get the first taste, they have to thank Jake for the
warning. There must be just a wee bit of hallucinagenic in the mix because everyone is right
away transported to a more relaxed and agreeable mood.
Soon, the conversation turns to their predicament. They are lucky the outer hull took the
bulk of the blast wave. Their inner hull seems to be holding up well with no apparent leaks.
From the amount of repairs Red has made on the antenna, they have started sending out a
distress signal. But they aren't too hopeful for rescue. Janax and Jake both agree they have
never seen this part of the galaxie before, if indeed they are still in their galaxie. The
super nova blast must've really thrown them a lot further than they could think possible!
Well, that is a problem for later. Now they will just relax, have one of their 'special space
meals' and try to get some rest. The next time frame will be soon enough for more external
repairs and internal calculations.
