Our travelers look at each other and wonder 'what kind of payment could this guy want? We don't have much if anything to barter with!' Janax excuses himself to go and change out of the space suit while the others stare at the alien in wonderment. Finally, Jorge asks the first question. 'So do you have a name, sir? My name is Jorge Millsap, freelance archaeologist.' and he waves a hand at the alien. 'Oh where are my manners. Yes of course. My name is Tale Kryoni. My game is free and unhindered commerce. I travel this part of the galaxie buying and selling whatever I find along the way. In your cases, I have never seen the likes of you before. Where do you come from? You really intrigue me!' Jorge tries to explain, 'Well, in our part of the galaxie, and I'm not sure we are even in the same galaxie, is far out on the eastern edge. Our realm of experience covers no more than a thousand planets.'and he goes on to explain what happened to them and how it was that their encounter with a unexpected super nova catapulted them to where they are now and severely damaged their space shipship in the process. 'So just where are we now?' 'Oh, I think we inhabit the same galaxie.' says Tale. 'From the prelimary scan of your ship by my ship's intelligence, certain trace elements common to this galaxie were found, so I think it is safe to say your diversion didn't knock you into a completely different galaxie. But lets get on with the introductions, shall we?' So Silo, then Jake, then Red and finally Janax introduce themselve to Tale and tell him a little bit about themselves. 'Good!' says Tale. 'Well this is great. I think we are off to a better start. To prove my good faith, let me treat you all to lunch. We can discuss the repairs of your ship then.' At the sound of Tale's mention of lunch, another little cart shows up driven by a rather different looking droid. It seems totally oblivious by its surroundings. 'One of my auto-pilots for these carts.' says Tale. 'Sometimes I get tired of driving my- self around so I created these driver droids to navigate the carts for me. I only have to tell them where I want to go and they are programmed to get me there in the shortest route possible. They have improved my work load incredibly.' Meanwhile, Red seems to be having an intense conversation with the cute little robot that accompanied Tale out to meet them. They aren't using any language the humans can under- stand. Jorge has a feeling it must be some form of a machine language. Just buzzing and clicking sounds at a very high speed and frequencie. 'Excuse me again. I forgot to introduce my little friend here. He has been with me for a very long time. Everyone, this is Mude Udis. He was on this ship long before I ever came aboard and knows a lot more about it than I will ever know. He has helped me discover many interesting features on this ship. But lets talk about it over lunch. I'm getting hungry thinking of it. Everyone, hop in the carts! Lets have lunch!'
