Description
Celebrating TWO YEARS of using Daz Studio, I present my original characters Lola and Misty, dressed up as their in-game personas.
Basically, one of the first things i did was create two characters that had a significant size difference. In my fantasy series, i had Aryll and Dizav and I'd been told that "You can't make 'em too short" and I wanted to challenge that notion. They were pretty much plain G8F, though I did apply a g3 skin to one, and a freebie "moon elf" skin to the other. I played around with the hair options I had at the time (stock Daz Studio) and while I found one that worked for Lola, nothing ever seemed to work for Misty. It was around this time that their stories started to speak to me.
Two years later, they're characters in my newest novel series. They aren't just plain G8F anymore, either! And hopefully this pose is certain proof that I've gotten pretty good at dealing with characters that aren't the same size!
Just a bit of fun, but it took since the 21st to get it all put together. I kept finding problems, lol.
Believe it or not, there is NO clipping anywhere, full 360 degrees. The wings, the hat, the hair, the ears. Nothing clipping. WOOO! (I get obsessive sometimes.)
Lola and Misty are cosplaying, taking a moment to get their picture taken before entering the main floor of a convention. Costumes are Lola's work, of course. They've come a long way since their first render!

My original notes for the characters: "Lola is into cosplay, and Misty. Misty is into Lola. Lola hasn't figured that out yet."
MAYBE I'll share one of the first renders I did of them...

Oh yeah, for sure! I thin it helps that Lola is so much shorter than Misty. Originally I had them separated a bit. And then suddenly it was like Misty was saying, "Get over here" and it just came together. Neither pose started as a couples pose, either. Which is pretty much how it was with my earliest renders on the account that I didn't have any pose sets then!

From what I can see, yeah. But I suppose it's like Apple Vs PC. (I prefer PC myself.) I have friends that say I ought to ditch for Blender, but... WAAAY too complicated! Thanks for the feedback!

I couldn't even fathom an image like this two years ago. Then i look back on some of my more recent work, like "Embers in the Rain," and I have to admit that I'm making progress with the software!
