Description

After a long day, the girls decide to take a nap on the couch. I was having some trouble getting Lola's hair to not clip through her hand, so I ended up rendering it twice - once without the hair and then using the eraser tool. I think it turned out well. One single spotlight, a sofa that came with the "Modern Barn Conversion" set and clothes. Lola's wearing the awesome bra from Innocent Underwear by chasfh. Poor girl. She never wears anything just to be "sexy." And the one time she puts one something sexy, Misty falls asleep! Their story is, ultimately, tragic. Misty had been hiding just how bad her cancer is, and even though she's warm an affectionate, she doesn't commit to a romantic relationship with Lola until it's almost too late. She believes that it would be "better for Lola" that way. That somehow it would make her eventual loss hurt less. Which drives their friend Lenny nuts. I think one of the things that I've been exploring really well with the book is the idea that we should express our feelings to those we care about. Whether a friend, a lover, a coworker, a teacher. It doesn't matter. Life is WAAAY too short to not express our loves. Not the most impressive render, but it's the best I could come up with on my poor tired brain! I hope you will enjoy it , all the same.

Thank you. Been so busy lately, so spending too much time on a render feels... well, not as relaxed! Today I'm working on getting my book ready to launch on the 31st and avoiding Daz Studio. Of course, I gotta reply to all these comments before I get started! Part of my daily routine now.
