I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Excellent result ! Some time ago the 3D software doesn't let us do what we would like to do. You found the solution, it's a great idea

Thank you. Been so busy lately, so spending too much time on a render feels... well, not as relaxed! Today I'm working on getting my book ready to launch on the 31st and avoiding Daz Studio. Of course, I gotta reply to all these comments before I get started! Part of my daily routine now.

A siesta with your 2nd self? Your new image is wonderfully done! 😘
LyleAryn
Thank you. I think my next one will be featuring Lenny again. Been working on the book, so they're both heavy on my mind.

Beautiful. Love the subtle, soft lighting, really sets the mood...

Pretty much was Lola was going for, only Misty fell asleep. Aww.
Thanks for the feedback!
Nightwind
Well done.
LyleAryn
It was a pain in the butt to take care of the reflections on Lola's glasses, though. I managed it eventually!

A very tender and moving piece of art, sir. The soft, warm, low intensity light really enhances the warm feeling of calm and closeness here. Well done, my friend!
And you are right - life is too short and as we've seen, too uncertain, to keep that love to one's self.
LyleAryn
Thanks! For sure. Better to say something lest you face a growing mountain of regrets.

Excellent work! You are right about the fact that, life is too short! I believe one should not worry about petty things and instead concentrate on living life to the fullest! Only then will you start to experience your life to its full potential! Very well done! I like it! :-)
LyleAryn
Thank you! I'm glad you like it. It's something I try to live my life by these days. Getting to that point where when you lose touch with someone, it tends to turn into a permanent situation.
Radar_rad-dude
A most interesting and sad story for these two beautiful characters! Marvelous work! Bravo.
LyleAryn
Thank you. It's certainly a subject I've not tackled too much before.
I just finished editing the first book of the series, too! Like, about ten minutes ago.

You are so correct my friend. When we only can keep the past in our heart and our future is unknown...communicating and feeling in the moment is of the essence. A very fine render. BTW, your post trick, I know well. It can save a lot of grief from bad behavior in rendering. Well done.
LyleAryn
Thanks! If it didn't take much render time, it ends up being a pretty decent trick. If the render took 20 hours... I just groan.
PandaB5
Beautiful sentiment and render. Good message to spread as well!
LyleAryn
Thanks, Panda. Definitely something I believe in.
