I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

LyleAryn
Thanks! I rather like how they turned out myself.

Have that song black velvet in my mind now. Sweet dark beauty. She could leave a big lipstick mark on your collar.
LyleAryn
Yeah, me too. She's perfectly fine with snuggles, too.
Tracesl
now this is creative, excellent and well done
LyleAryn
Thank you very much, Tracesl!

LyleAryn
Thank you. Got a whole tale spinning in my head now. She didn't even exist as a concept until I went on my walk this morning.

For a fantastic story it takes a mysterious character, great job LyleAryn 👍🙋♂️
LyleAryn
Thank you. I might just have to introduce her to my players. She ought to fit into the setting well enough.

Of course! Always speak your mind, my friend.

Looks good - and the dragon on the dress is a nice touch
LyleAryn
Thanka. I figure the seamistress was working on a dress for one of the King's many wives when she disappeared.
OkrimSlava

Very odd! Interesting little tale to go with it, I think you may have to do a continuation...

I think so, too!

dakotajaroo
pretty skin texture, a character while sewing
LyleAryn
Yeah! I've decided for her adventuring gear, she'll have a giant needle to use as a sword.
bucyjoe
fantastic
LyleAryn
Thank you!

Well, that would definitely be a bummer.... Poor thing... She does look like she's made out of velvet - super job on her!
LyleAryn
She might have been born yesterday (to my mind) but I think she's going to be starring in my next book.
Thank you for the feedback!
Nightwind
Very original and nice story to go with her.
LyleAryn
Thank you. I think it's going to be my NaNoWriMo novel.
PandaB5
This is really cool - I like the emphasis of her dragon on her leg. I like her in this outfit - it makes her more mysterious.
LyleAryn
Thank you. I rather like this outfit to. I imagine she'll probably take it with her on her journey.
ikke.evc
Dang, an enchantment against dust, could use that right now. Poor thing, nicely done!
LyleAryn
Thanks, Ikke! I'm looking forward to writing a whole novel about her, which means there will probably be more renders of her to come.
mifdesign
Great render, exquisite outfit, gorgeous background. Daring approach. She looks intriguing and sweet but, with velvet, you never know. Wonderful Artwork.
LyleAryn
Thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback. She's such a fun character for me. Tragic, but in a sort of clueless way.
tuxedomask
