Description
This image was made for a contest at www.3dluvr.com.
I ended up 9th place ;-)
This image is so heavy on geometry (suspension debris, pebbles, aquatic plants, coral, etc) that it had to be rendered in sections and composited in Photoshop. My poor 512Mb RAM machine could not render it in one go...
Since it was made on a Mac, it might show a bit too dark on Windows machines since the Windows gamma is usually too low (meaning... it sucks!! ;-).
Just as curious trivia, there are 881 pebbles in the fish tank ;-)

Now THIS is a great image!! Excellent placement of the camera to obtain a nice refraction effect through the water, nice lighting and very good details. Well done!

881 pebbles? But how many fish flakes are there? ;) Very nicely done indeed. Get this sent over to 3D World magazine for their gallery.

I know exactly how many pebbles are in there because they were created with particles :-) The fish scales were made in Photoshop... no, I will not count them! ;-) I'm getting some of my files ready to send them :-)
