Description
To celebrate the launch of this wonderful expansion to Spacegirl 2020 (Bathsheba's Starstrider), I present Mei Lin 8 showing off Alderman's Assassin!
From Daz3d.com, we have Mei Lin 8, Top Knot Hair, and the harness from X-Fashion America Outfit for Genesis 8 Female, and lipstick from the LIE Pirate Make up set.
Almost everything else, you can find here on Renderosity! We have Alderman's Assassin, Spacegirl 2020, and the gun from Chameleon Rose Biker Outfit. We've got brain1969's just4renders - Floor, with shaders borrowed from his Project Sirius.
There's a single spotlight for the rim lighting, and an emmisive panel raised to the ceiling of the room to provide additional lighting. As for what you see out the window, I got that from NASA! Guess what? They got some SUPER high resolution photos of space, all public domain. Makes sense, since our taxes did pay for the telescopes, lol.
I tried rendering it with an HDRI backdrop (Darkest night from Orestes) but it just looked grainy and NOT GOOD. So I ditched it and went hunting for a starscape and learned about the incredible resource NASA provides. This is an ion cloud in Orion somewhere. I think it looks great, and with 7,000 pixels height, it was perfect for some scale-and-crop.
