Description

Just checking, really. I updated Poser on my beefier computer (18 bazillion cores, hellabyte of RAM, visual cortex display, etc.), sync'd my content between the machines and my dev directories. The acid test: does it work? The scene loaded. Changed skin, hair, character, clothing, and render type (GPU) to see if the libraries worked. I used the fitting room and some morphing to port Honey V from V4 to La Femme because. The setup room still has the same "meta-stability" issues. I'm sure it will be smooth sailing when 12 comes out. After the Windows people test it so it can be more stable for mac users, next month. Thanks, guys! :) I'm very confused by all the render presets, now. And my renders all seem to take way longer for the same quality that before. I'm sure it's because I'm overkilling with presets and leaving settings way higher than they need to be for such a simple scene. One of these days, I should learn what's going on. It's on my ever growing "todo" list. I should live so long as to do 1/10th of the list. A bridge, a bridge, my kingdom for a bridge! Poser and Blender. Would that I could use Blender's sculpt for morphs without a patchwork of scripts and a workflow that leaves me with a case of PTSD. I mean, we're using some version of Blender's render engine. Let's get chummier. Anyway... this character is my "erin" character. I've always been a fan of Sabby's characters (super cute) and also Blackhearted's GND (super hot) and this was my attempt (last year) to bring a mashup of those looks to La Femme. Hute? Cot? Catherine skin, Nikyta eyes, hd morphs. Honey V (for v4) pants and top, through the fitting room and morph brush. Same ghostship lights and pose as before. The character, if you haven't noticed, is a bit stylized. No human looks like this, as far as I know (which is not terribly far, really). But if I wanted reality, I'd use a camera :p Update: the cpu version. Just because.
