Danke'.

Excellent ! I do not know what Africa has to do with the color as this looks like standard Dunkelgelb with red brown and olive. Standardized for all German armor as of February 1943.

Correct. The model came with standard Dunkelgelb and I added the red brown (RAL 8017) and olive (RAL 6003) splotches to it. I sometimes like to think of a backstory for my images and that's where I was going with it. I really have a lot invested in this one and just glad it turned out well. I'm still refining the camo netting, which is like the 3rd version I created for this and had to do a lot of experimentation with dforce to get it right. I'm almost there and will be using more netting and such on future vehicles. I try to get as close to accurate as I can, as I love the details. But there is a price to pay in RAM memory as well. Anyway, thanks for the comment, I appreciate it.

Nice scene. I made a Sdkfz 222 in 1/72 when I was young (Airfix I think...) . I like the camo mesh!

Thank you! I didn't do one when I was a kid, I think my first German armor was a Panzer IV or such. I love being able to work with the digital models as you can do a lot with them and don't have to worry about the glue mess or where to display the finished piece.

Great image, very lifelike. Did you make the model yourself?
ksmith3620
No, I found it during one of my searches for 3d military german models. I found it so long ago, I can't remember exactly where I found it...it may have been a freebie on here at one point. Maybe at CGTrader, or such I really can't remember. I should try to find it again so I can give the creator proper credit.
