Description

The terrain and the copy in the background were generated from an HDRI and given an adjusted material from High Resolution Terrains 1 (available at Daz 3D). The object in the inner crater was modelled in Incendia. Sky and ambient light by the Gasclouds_B09 HDRI (like the terrain), the key light by the sun. A structure within the inner crater.

This is one of my favorites. I like the wet ground look in the foreground and the jagged rocks surrounding the craft.

Hi Hans , thanks for the enlightening comment recently !this crater in crater i can appreciate howewer .. : it, s just a minor critical detail. I ever started terrainmaking With Bryce versions in the past and tried to avoid those steep conical little unnatural geological speaking towers they easily got erected in renders when not smoothed and flattened enough in the deep terrain workspace they ruined my unexperienced terrain tryouts and caused long intervals of less Bryce interesse . and try to make 3D Bryces instead to comfort myself
,, Prutzwork,, is such a Mojo World fantast who transformed those Mojo peaks intentionally in such ways they were doomed to fall apart by gravitational forces and down against The Mojo ground but didn,t and honestly evoked a humoristic to grin on my face :those morphed fantasies. For serious landscaping witch can be fantasy or fantastic, this is SF fun but not my cup of tea .to build a carreer on

Thank you. Agreed, such peaks are rare in nature because of erosion, water and wind make them softer with time. My aim is not to create realistic scenes only but let my imagination take me wherever it will. I'm not an artist but I want fun with that part in me after having spent over 40 years as engineer in electronics, telecom and IT. The Bryce TE is very versatile and let you create interesting forms and shapes that are not necessarily terrains. Lately, I used 96- HDRIs to create terrains. Not very realistic but great fun.
