Description
Been a while since i did a classical picture, so here is Khione the snow nymph, daughter of Boreas the North wind. Her great beauty attracted a fair amount of unwanted attention from the male Gods (not that that stopped them, as so often in Greek myths). Some stories tell she was also somewhat vain of her looks, and was slain by Artemis for claiming that she was more beautiful.

Very nice. I like the classical look. The whiteness of the marble and the clouds give it a "pure" feel. The gold on her hair and the capitals is a nice tie in. It is not always easy to get white to render white without blowing out details where you still want them but you have done a great job with that here.

I love the light in this one - and how you so often include the ceiling in so many of your renders. It really holds the characters in a way that is subtly satisfying.
