Now you can see where my imagination has filled in the spaces. The original painting, by Thomas Bardwell, is freely available on the Internet, should you wish to see how you would interpret those hidden spaces.
There is also a neat paperback titled, 'Perry Hall Yesterdays', written by Gerald Stunt and edited by Peter Allen.
