I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Very lovely creation. I admire how much work you put into your characters. It was very interesting what you described about how the RPG works. I am also glad to hear that you are working through the issues that cause you the most pain and anguish. I wish you all the best getting to a point where most of this is in the rearview mirror.
LyleAryn
Thank you. It is a process, but I am working through it, the best I can. Have a lovely day.

You got a great result with her, good sir. It can be quite the challenge getting everything to look right.. I frequently do 2 or 3 separate renders, then combine - or composite - them in Photoshop to paint out pokes, especially with extreme poses or figures.
Yeah, you have to just keep on keepin' on... Day by day... I've had some depression issues of late as well. It's hard not to with all the crap going on.. I don't even recognize this Country anymore...

Thank you. I'm managing, even if it's just by the skin of my teeth some days. Truthfully, one of the biggest things is to find the forward path. Sometimes it feels as if there isn't one. Usually, once I can find that, I can see what the options are.
The people of this country will endure. I have faith in that. What going on in DC is long overdue. I have some faith, though, that things will improve. It's unfortunate that we continue to be stuck with so-called leaders that do nothing but further their own goals, rather than those of the people. Its unfortunate, too, that things will likely get worse before they get better. But then, it is always darkest before the dawn. The best I can figure is to take care of the ones we love, and keep the faith in the people.
