I can't open my library with Poser 9. I have brought literally hundreds of items here, and they are in my library. If I can't get them, I won't be able to buy anything else. I've been trying to get used to Poser 7, again, but It is very hard to find things in the P7 library.
Right now, I can't afford to purchase Poser products beyond Poser 9.
Are they immune to this problem?
I hope Renderosity will try to help us. Yes, this is an old image.

Not sure if it works in P9, but you should be able to go into 'preferences' and select 'external' for the library.. The earliest I have is PP2014, and have a solution for that.. Sorry it didn't work for 9 for you.. 😢 I never tried 7 - I started with 8... Seems like a century ago..

I hear ya, same problem with P10 and I refuse to go back to P6.....I have (out of frustration) lately opened the poser library folder and dragged things into an open poser work area.

Go to the forum. There is an .ini file you can edit to make it work. Adobe no longer functions.

I searched many times. There is no Poser.ini in my files. I have and still are checking The forum.

Sorry to hear about your issues. It seems a lot of Poser users have run into similar problems since Adobe quit supporting its program.

I hope someone finds a solution for Poser 9 - not sure why flash is needed.

Sorry for your problems with Poser, Sue, I have no answer, except using File Manager of Windows for opening Runtime, then drag and drop what you want (.cr2,pz2....files), in the screen of Poser, but it is not very convenient...

My p9 is down also. I paid 106.00 for a p11.2 in the bay.
Waiting for a friend to come over and help me at my p9 files into p 11 since both are different.

I have forgotten how the Poser 7 library worked. But with a bit of planning you might be able to do things in stages. Maybe do the scenery fist in Poser 7 delete lights and export it as Pz3. Maybe next do a figure and clothing. etc. And even without the library you still have Import>Poser document or prop. Import the bits and finish and render your image. History. Starting with Poser 8, poser decided to base the library on Flash. Not a great idea. Flash became increasingly flakey withy time. So with 11.2 thley replaced the Flash version with a 'real' library module. Can PoserSoftware retrofit earlier versions with the 11.2 version? If not they should offer an upgrade to at least a stripped down version of 11.2 for people who can't afford to upgrade all the way.

I am so sorry. This is affecting so many people. As buyers of poser products I hope you coordinate an open letter to bondware and renderosity. Plead with them to have an engineer assigned to look for a work around. A forced mass exodus from poser would certainly harm both their future business models.
