I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

I have been getting a few, but not like before. I really dig your render. superb work. I have an appointment for a vaccine. I hope the county does not screw it up for appointment time. my sister had to drive from Tulsa area to McAlester to get hers
RodS
Thanks Richard! I really need to get signed up for that vaccine as well...

A fun render and an important request. The Activity Feed really doesn't cut it. 'Osity, try doing some comments that might span 3 or4 separate screens. of (more). And don't tell me i should comment more often. That is maybe a day or so of not visiting. It is tedious at best. EBOTs work !!!
RodS
Exactly!! 👍
Saby55
Excellent composition. This is a beautiful image!!! 👍🙋♂️

Hope they get it fixed ASAP.

Fantastic work, and you're right!

I rely on ebots to pull me away from my work and 3D art to spent quality time, commenting on all the artists I follow. The ebot is the trigger for me, especially when some people cannot religiously follow your work because of health or family commitments but nevertheless, we have enjoyed that person's work and they deserve to be applauded for their effort and talent. Besides, trying to remember all favourite artists, is an impossibility. Ebots contribute greatly to the traffic through Renderosity, much of which is a visit to the store to spend money there otherwise, people will not see the lovely items and latest goodies and will either not bother purchasing, or go to Daz! Top Man Rod! LOVE this piece!

I completely agree with you, my friend. It's very difficult to follow my friends without the notification emails, some of them got upset because I didn't go through their pictures, I missed them and it's true that many people have left because it takes them too much time to look for them. Have a good weekend Rod !!

Agree with Kordouane : I completely agree with you, my friend. It's very difficult to follow my friends without the notification emails, some of them got upset because I didn't go through their pictures, I missed them and it's true that many people have left because it takes them too much time to look for them. Have a good weekend Rod !! But I take the Time to go over the last 4 pages every day.

Cool scene....obviously understand your frustration hopefully they will have it sorted / fixed in the not too distant future.....!

don't think this site cares less about our needs seems like. they just do what they feel and we suffer. like you huge drop in visits, I just wonder if they will bring them back or not. I may use activity feed anyway but counted on the ebots to give me a heads up on my friends posts. I highly miss this feature that we had for years. love your statement and cool doctors office scene.

While I mainly use the Activity Feed, and I sometimes can't comment often because of family commitments, I understand the frustration. Trying to catch up is difficult. In a time when so many are home, you'd think there would be more activity on this site not less, so the Powers That Be better figure things out soon or things will never pick up.
Good job, Rod, and thanks for keeping this topic at the top of the "list"

I agree with you. I truly miss those ebots. I hope they come back soon.

Superb scene. I understand the discomfort but, we need to keep in mind, it is Rosity web site but the hosting servers might run within one or more data farms. For security reasons - this is what I assume myself only, I might be totally wrong - services may be kept under lock-down for a while. What was at Rosity's hand, they already did very nice, the web site loads much faster and it is very responsive. I'm sure they can write new code from scratch to send notifications but only the code is at their hand, not the services that makes them work. On the other side, the receiver's mail side resides on other's mail servers. So not just everything depends on what Rosity can do or want to do. This is just my guess or what I assume it might be possible, I may be totally wrong, definitely. This would mean only one thing, in my opinion, it means they care more about our data security. For me that would make sense.

Just a few observations of the results of not having the ebots, and my opinion for what it's worth. Which is probably not much.. 😉

Bravo, Rod! And thanks for helpful advice!

That's complete crap what she's writing (she just needed to complain, she get's the most comments in the whole gallery): 😂 "It's very difficult to follow my friends without the notification emails, some have been annoyed because I haven't looked through their paintings, I've missed them and it's true that many people have left because it takes them too much time to look for them." 😂 Just go to "Galleries" - "New Art" there you can see all your visitors at any hour!

I can't blame a lack of ebots for the general lack of comments, I just blame people in general. Most people want comments but can't be bothered to give them ... at all. I've noticed this on every gallery I've been to. People can't even be bothered to hit a like button. So I often wonder what's the point In posting anything? All I'm doing is wasting my time.
RodS
I've noticed that as well... As an example there are a few folks I've been commenting on regularly - for several years in a few cases. I've not had a comment from them in at least a couple months - yet they still manage to post regularly. I dunno, Shawn.. Just chalk it up to human nature, I guess... 🙄 I'll keep trying (for a while at least...)

Great scene and I agree wholeheartedly. I have commented on this issue more thanonce myself, and asked for updates on several occasions, but am ignored...
...yet they still find time to (increasingly arbitrarily it seems) ban images and force artists like Rtesian and RRun to leave the community. One does wonder what their priorities are ...

Great image.
I understand people's frustrations. When you are used to doing something a particular way, it is annoying when it stops working. I never relied exclusively the bots, When (not if) I fall behind on viewing friends art, I just go to my following list and try to work my way through it. But I imagine the really problem people are having is the seeming indifference Renderosity has to their complaints, it makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes.

LOL!!! Great image!!! :-)

slowly but surely I'm commenting on the all the images I didn't comment on. (I hope you can see them in your activity feed, since I know the bots have taken off for brazil...) The irony of this upload is that you did it in January, and it's now almost april, and nothing has changed. I don't know what to make of it. I love the surgery scene, in blues, and an ebot who looks utterly tapped out. You managed to make it look like it can barely catch a breath. I agree with your narrative. (I get so few comments when bots are working, I don't know that it makes a big difference for me when they're not, but it sure doesn't help! And I know that a lot of you who get lots of comments have been really cut back by this problem, which is disgusting. I can't fathom why it's taken so long. I mean, it's been months...)
Perfect image, and nice sterile medical office. I love these outfits, and the blue-green tennis shoes are a great accent. Perfect image for the problem. And it doesn't seem to have changed the problem. I wonder how much longer this image will be 'relevant'. Really nicely done, Rod. (I saw the bots in a waste site just west of the airport...they were wheezing and lying about amongst the old oil tins and rusted cars...pitiful sight, just pitiful...)

Great image and name for the virus - one that affects our politicians at times! I check the Activity Feed and then also go though the New Art to see who's done what. Every now and again some visitor new to my gallery leaves a comment and I then go and look at his or her gallery.
