Hi, you could try keeping the tree in the foreground and replace the distance trees with something very simple. I'll try and explain... search online for an image of a tree on a white background or one that comes with an alpha channel. Use it as a texture applied/mapped onto a flat plane. Duplicate the plane and turn it 90 degrees on the verticle axis. Group the two planes and there you have it, a very simple tree. with some imagination, you can vary the image to create a non uniform shape. Hi, Sorry I’m only now replying to your helpful comments, but I’ve only just discovered them. The imminent replacement of my computer has been causing me some concern recently. Having to keep putting off the actual purchase because of more essential needs has meant, my OS System hasn’t been upgraded. Also, I'm horrified how C4d now charges unrealistic amounts to rent their latest versions…! That’s nothing but commercial greed. Unless you are filthy rich or, a company with huge financial resources, the ordinary man on the street has no chance of using the latest version. I contacted Maxon, expressing my feelings, but they’ve ignored me on three occasions…! Obviously, they have no room for ’the man on the street’ who originally they relied upon to kickstart their product. However , plod along still using my ancient original version purchased way back, in awe of how far they’ve advanced their technology. I’ll struggle on though, knowing that one day it will cease to open and that my modelling days, will be over…! Take care, Peter.
