I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Love the scene and POV.
LyleAryn
Thanks! The POV was accidental, but I love the slightly skewed perspective.

I pity her, with such hair, beautiful composition

Those ornaments don't look none too light, either! Thanks for the review.

The rays add that special touch, nice work.
LyleAryn
Thank you! I'm glad you like it. It takes a bit more render time, but then I think it's worth it.

Looking really cool here - it has a wonderful mystic feel. I like it!
LyleAryn
Thanks, RodS! Have a great week, you here?

This is fantastic work.
LyleAryn
Thanks! You really think so?

Nice work indeed!
LyleAryn
Thanks, Chasfh. I'm still trying to come up with a render that shows off Meadow's skin more. She just has such a regal air. I might have to get something special for her.

This beautiful and majestic Queen looks in deep thoughts, she will probably have to make important decisions... This is superb scene composition and render, with spot-on lighting.
LyleAryn
Thank you very much. I love how her expression came together. Meadow has a perfect face for a more regal look.

Very nicely done all the way around. The characters are both very intriguing. I really also like the camera work and the subtle use of Atmo. it all plays very nicely together.
LyleAryn
Why thank you, Dagger. I think I JUST now had an idea for a follow up render with Meadow.

the combo of the pov and light is really effective, particularly in the circular atrium; gives the whole a great punch. I would have been tempted to zoom out a little to avoid cropping the bottom of the dress off and accentuating the figure being in the "centre of things".

Thank you. It was a case of finding a camera angle I liked, and then not fiddling with it. Just a minor adjustment would have perfected it, but... I'm glad you like it!
