Description

This is Shaya from Mika 7, converted to G8F. Using Oso's spell effects, and the dubious hallway. Using a short wet hair and some horns from a collection of horns and I'm really tired right now so my mind keeps slipping. Superhero Eyes adds to the effects going on. Lighting is handled by two point lights. Thought I'd give it a try. I also went in and adjusted the shutter speed a little bit. Finally, using the dForce Lost Lagoon outfit. Zen was created to join in on a group RP discord, but I'm started to think I'm going to have to write a short story or novel featuring her, because she's really grown on me. Plus, I came up with this entire Kindling character and their whole backstory today while I was on a walk. So... there's something there to explore. Zen, of course, being the purple-skinned elf seen previously in the gallery. I'm actually thinking she might join the cast of my Velvet novel. Or maybe I'll just write out a story where they meet, I don't know. I just think that would be an interesting pair-up. Going to be playing around with Blender a bit, soon. And tomorrow, I hope to get the next comic page done. I'm still not sure what kind of pace I want to set with it, but I'm eager to reach a particular scene I've been driving towards. P.S. A quick note on post-work. I rather the image through a "Graphic Novel" filter, and then created a gradient mask of that, blending it over the original to have a pronounced effect in the upper left corner. I think it does the job of suggesting a warped reality, but I'll let you be the judge. I'm just pleased I learned a new trick.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I'm getting a little more comfortable with post work, and Oso's magic effects are a joy to work with.

Thank you! You're one of the few that got to read it, but... well, I'll likely do a new story write-up and post it when I get it over on deviantart. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you! Not all dryads are so friendly - and this one has an especial reason for being villainous.

Works for me!

Lovely job, and a great looking image and character. Just the right level of "creepy" married to an ideal amount of "surreal", like a waking nightmare!

Yay! Thanks. That's what I wanted. She's got quite a story behind her. A dryad without a tree, brought back to life through a nightmare... mhmm.

Oooo - man.. She could definitely generate some nightmares... Brrr.....

Learning new tricks is always good.... I do need to dip into Blender myself...

Yeah. I managed to use the bridge and export a character. I don't know how to do anything in Blender, but I got the character over there! Thanks for looking.

Very nicely constructed. This is a most enjoyable view. The way you did the illuminated eyes against that ghastly black smoky body is really intriguing. All in all, a very frightful character. Well done.
