Description
Bryce 5. Barn Owl from Poser/freestuff. Grass from Bantam3D "Grass". Heavy render (15 hrs.) due to the complexity of the trees and their custom "branches for leaves" textures. Slight postwork in Photoshop.

Originally I made this render for this month's challenge, but decided that it isn't christmas-like enough for a December image.

Looks like a photograph! The detail is incredible, grass is great! Perfect color balance, natural. Lighting and textures work well in the scene. My computer would have blown-up trying to render this :)
