BIO I'm an illustrator, and for the last 15 years I have been doing almost exclusively digital work--mostly covers for e-books and small presses; fantasy, SF and Paranormal Romance covers are my specialty. I use Poser, Photoshop and Painter, and a nifty little paint program called ArtRage. I have been lucky enough to have work shown on the BBC's The Sky at Night, done promotional artwork for the Hugos, and have digital art tutorials published in Michael Burn's Femme Digitale and Digital SciFi Art (Watson-Guptill 2004) as well as DVD covers, cd covers and e-book covers, most recently for Liquid Silver Books, Edge/Tesseract and Dragon Moon Press. I'm also a member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists. . When I have time, I do acrylic paintings for fun.
Commissions: I do 3d texturing and backgrounds now rather than book covers, and I do appreciate a good UV template to work on. Thanks for checking out my bio!

Very pretty!

Thank you! I think it's amusing we have advanced rendering technology that lets us reproduce a bad analog mall photo :D (I miss malls, I hope they are still there by the time we all get vaxxed)

spectacular light work in this brilliant image Lynn.

Thank you so much--90 per cent of it is just the hdri, I added a pink light you can't even see, except that Onishi is no longer quite as blue as she was in the original :D

A beautiful scene with Onishi wearing the SoftWind Outfit. Malls nowadays are very much like the mall you have in this render. You don't see much people around shopping anymore or just hanging out with friends and family. I remember all those weekends you go shopping and the mall was filled of people, all the shops and food court that you have to get in line to get your order. But these days, it's almost like being in a ghost town, hardly any one around, and so these shop owners they close their stores. I wonder when we'll get back to those old days in which a walk in the mall was a good thing. This covid thing is quite a nightmare.

Very detailed and yields a lot of good pespective. Cool work. I was curious how Poser 12 handled HDRI. I'll be sending you a site mail soon.

Great character and scene!

A lovely scene with the gorgeous Oshini, Lynn! One of these days I'll get DS working again so I can let her out to play a bit.

Gorgeous render! You can never go wrong with Onishi. Other than to leave her waiting. ;)

Are the shops even open?? Everything works well together in this scene!! Well done!

I don't know--I haven't been out for a year! I have one mall that is close that isn't enclosed--it's like a strip of shops-- and I think that one is open, or at least some of the shops are open there. (thank you too!)

This pandemic put the final nail in the coffin of many of the malls in the Phoenix area! Several have closed for good and are being demolished as I speak. So you might have to drive awhile to find that pretzel. Or, check at WalMart or online at Amazon? LOL. Well, these are our new realities! Hard to believe but there it is! Very nice image, btw! Most excellent work!

It's such a shame because the mall was somewhere that people can go to cool off during the day--you can sit for a long time with an ice tea and not be a problem for anyone, and it was clean and lovely. I have a recipe for pretzels but I haven't gotten around to making them yet! Thank you too!

The hdri lighting rocks, excellent work. Our shops and malls have been open during most of the pandemic. But not the restaurants. No chance to sit down for a pretzel and ice tea ...

I read a funny interview of a New York humorist who disliked dining outside, as New Yorkers must do now. "I was always afraid of being hit by a taxi, but never before while eating dinner." :D
